Apart from the petrol motor, the all-new Elantra will also be offered with a hybrid powertrain which is a 139PS/264Nm 1.6-litre GDI unit. The engine will come equipped with a CVT only. However, rumor has it that the hybrid is likely to be replaced by a diesel engine in the Indian market.
